You're NEVER "TOO OLD" to Change!

My Advice To You: Age has NOTHING to do with reaching your full potential and following your dreams! If you can dream it, you can achieve it! Age is only a number!

More lately than not, I've spoken to many of my friends recently who feel they are "too old" to make changes in their life. It's never too late to DREAM BIG. I know you are passionate about something as you've made it this far in life. If you give up now, what does that say about your legacy? You are leaving behind the knowledge, experiences, and stories to tell. It's time to speak up, have a voice to be heard, and make an impact in this world. What if everyone just decided to sit back and let the next generations try to find their way without any guidance and support? You may only touch one person's life, but that is only the beginning. When we decide to make a habit of showing up for others daily, we become what we put out into the world. We attract in our lives what we give.

Why stay in a place that brings you no value or brings no value to anyone else for that matter? Why keep doing the status quo and showing no signs of improving or moving your life forward? Life is hard, I get it, and everyone seems to be in a hurried rush to get to a destination in life, and whenever we reach a certain age, and you haven't fulfilled your dreams and aspirations, you GIVE UP! But YOU HAVE TO KEEP GOING! Life doesn't just stop because we reach a certain age; we keep going and continue to learn and grow until we are no longer physically able. You have the choice to get up every day with intention and say to yourself, "I want to change me, I want to change the world to make it a better place for my children, my grandchildren, generations to come!" YOU are a ROLE MODEL! The power is in you; YOU HAVE THE POWER!

YOU have the KEY to unlocking every opportunity that comes your way, and if you don't feel you have opportunities coming your way, then CREATE OPPORTUNITIES!

Just because you hit 45, 55, 65, or 75 doesn't mean your world stops. The best days are ahead of you. Many people are living their best life way later in life. You have the advantage to make shit happen faster than the next generations and more than you could dream possible because, over the years, you gained the knowledge, the experiences, the insight, and the stories to share with those that cross your path. If you genuinely want to be a better version of you, then only you can make that happen. I believe everyone can benefit from a personal growth mindset, no matter your age.

If you genuinely want to achieve your dreams still, you have to set goals, be intentional, be consistent, keep improving so you can continue to grow and reach milestones in your life! Life isn't a numbers game when it comes to our age. Life is about the choices we make, the people we surround ourselves with to bring value to our lives and their life. It's up to you to design the life you want and not wait for it to come to you.

Your #1 focus is on the RESULTS you want to achieve and not your age! Stop wasting time that doesn't bring joy to your life because you have set limits ON YOURSELF. Know NO BOUNDARIES!

Here are a few of the quick tips that I live by to keep me advancing while living my best life, later in life:

1. I ALWAYS start my morning with COFFEE! Create or get yourself a weekly planner. Write down 3 or 4 results that you want to achieve. These will be BIG items that will give your goals traction, so you see the results.

2. I write in my planner every morning, the time I will allot on each task. If you don't set the time limits, you can not be intentional about getting results. If you don't think you will have the time to complete each task, find time to spend a shorter amount of time on each task. But figure out a way to GET IT DONE because you are developing better habits. Scheduling time and actually doing it will help you keep developing the practices that are setting you up for goal attainment.

3. Be sure to schedule in your planner, TIME FOR YOUR Health and Wellness!

Time to eat and DRINK WATER (half your body weight in ounces, daily). Don't try to power through your day without making these a priority because you will lose the energy and focus to work at full capacity. Then, guess what? You will overeat or drink and eat the junk stuff. It's essential to take care of your body and mind while you are working toward your goals. You don't want to lose momentum and give up. And as we continue to mature in life, we need to focus on our health and well-being more and more.

The best advice I can give, as someone who is a mature adult, remove the limits on your life. You are NEVER too old to change; whether it's your career, geographic location, relationship, don't let a number hold you back! Have a mindset, I'm not aging; I'm evolving!! Get On With It!

Live your life with a new attitude, forget your age, and start living your BEST LIFE! FOCUS ON YOUR PURPOSE, and you will see better results in your life!
